Excel Keyboard Shortcuts

February 26th, 2007

A lot of people I know like to use the mouse when using the computer.  One hand is almost always holding the mouse.  But me, I prefer to use the keyboard and use the mouse only when I have to (like drag-and-drop operations, clicking a button, etc).  But as long as there’s an easy-to-remember way that I can do the operation without using the mouse, chances are, I’d do it that way.  I just feel that there are many things that can be done a lot faster with the use of the keyboard than using the mouse.  So, if you’re like me, you’d be interested about keyboard shortcuts in Excel.

I found a nicely formatted reference in Chip Pearson’s website.  You can even download it as an Excel workbook.  The complete list can be found in Excel help by doing a search for ‘keyboard shortcuts’.  It is also available online from Microsoft’s Office website.

Personnaly, I have found these to be ones that I regularly use and very useful to me:
